Changing Lives Through Education, Empowerment, and Community Support
From Vaddoor to the UK and Beyond — Building a World Where Youth Are Safe, Strong & Valued Through Education and Family Empowerment
Who We Are
Partnering to build a world where every child and family has the opportunity to thrive.
VTO-UK is a community-led charity rooted in Vaddoor, Sri Lanka and based in the UK. We support disadvantaged children, women-led families, and school leavers through education, job training, and compassionate outreach. Our work bridges cultures and generations, empowering youth with the tools they need to succeed.
We believe that real change begins with access — to learning, to support, and to opportunity. Through donations, mentorship, and inclusive programs, we help families rise above hardship and build brighter futures.
Together, we’re creating a movement of hope, dignity, and resilience — one child, one family, one village at a time.’re creating a movement of hope, dignity, and resilience — one child, one family, one village at a time.

What We Do
01.
— We Find & Fund
We identify families in urgent need — especially women-led households and children in poverty — and provide direct financial support to help them access food, education, and stability.
02.
— We Build Networks
We connect communities across the UK and Sri Lanka through cultural programs, traditional sports like Elle, and partnerships with local charities that share our vision of empowerment.
03.
— We Strengthen
We support women-led families with tools to rebuild their lives — from small business grants to emotional support — helping them become pillars of strength in their communities.
04.
— We Educate
We fund early education for children and offer job-oriented training for young adults, especially in IT and vocational skills, so they can build brighter futures.
05.
— We Provide Care
We offer compassionate outreach to children’s charities in the UK and provide essentials like school supplies, meals, and clothing to families in Sri Lanka.
06.
— We Guide & Grow
We mentor youth and families through life transitions — from school to work, from hardship to hope — offering guidance, encouragement, and practical support every step of the way.
